We are the premier traditional Korean Martial Arts School in the Philadelphia Area. Under the instruction of Grand Master Bong Pil Yang, we have been in North Wales for over 35 years. At Yang's Martial Arts School, we practice Sun Moo Do, which combines the arts of Tae Kwon Do, Hap Ki Do, Kung Jung Moo Sul, Gumdo, Meditation and Ki Training. Grand Master Yang has always believed in the balance of martial arts training: The“hard” and the “soft” as well as the spiritual elements of his art. Grand Master Yang’s focus on the balance between mind and body ensures that each student becomes a complete person and martial artist.
Characteristics of the Dog
The Dog has always been pessimistic and anxious, but the origin of his torments is rarely investigated. Yet the Dog is faithful companion of man, an affectionate pet and even a status symbol for his owner. The life of the Dog, as told by the ancient Chinese, will often be unstable, except during childhood, and only then will it be happy if his parents are protective. His youth is often tormented by difficult love affairs, which rarely leave him with good memories. His maturity will be haunted by nightmares, and his old age saddened by regrets at failing to have profited from life when he was young enough to do so. But luckily there are different kinds of Dogs, so life will be easer for some and more exciting and difficult for others. It is sad that Dogs born during daytime are luckier than those born at night. This is because the “day” Dog will not have to be on guard, while the “night” Dog will have to on watch and lead a Dog’s life.
As the Lady Dog you are more ambitious and aspire to material security. You are gifted and creative, but you are also, impatient, lacking in perseverance and tend to leave things half, finished. You are also attractive and adore deep conversation, being more sociable than your counterpart Mr. Dog. You are happiest when surrounded by friends, children and pets – be it in a palace, a suburban house or a flat. Your only fault lies in a tendency to be narrow-minded, being unable to appreciate things which are not part of your immediate universe.
