Holiday Greetings from Grand Master Yang
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and of course a very Happy and Prosperous New Year in 2014.
I believe that we should all stop and think about the true meaning of Christmas. Is it really only a time to gather about, have a good time and exchange gifts?
No! We must all stop and reflect on our daily lives, and recall that Christmas is a birthday, the birthday of Jesus Christ which is certainly more than an exchange of gifts. Without Jesus Christ we would not have the opportunities to enjoy life and find truth. We must remember that while he was born on Christmas day, he died for all our sins, and by his death gave us all the opportunity to live our lives to the fullest.
Remember to believe in Jesus Christ, not just on his birthday, but every day, and also, that through him the truth and way of life is to be found within each of us.
Congratulations to Grand Master Yang and YMAS!
This last month Grand Master Yang received a formal citation from Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett. The citation reads as follows:
It is my pleasure to join with your family, friends and colleagues to recognize your prominent career and the many contributions you have made to promote relations between the United States of America, Korea and China.
As Secretary of the 21st Century America-Korea-China Leaders’ Society, you distinguished yourself as a leader through your commitment to support open dialogue, peace and cooperation between our nations and foster lasting relationships to encourage prosperity now and in the future.
You deserve to be recognized for your service and I commend you for all of your efforts. It is my hope that your work will continue to strengthen the partnership between our nations for years to come.
As Governor, and on behalf of all Pennsylvanians, I am pleased to join with everyone in attendance at the Black Belt Ceremony to honor you for your service and to wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors.
